It's been too long since I put up a new post. I'm not even gonna try to hit every worthwhile point of the last month or so, because it would take far too much time. I would however like to talk about our president for a minute. There are a lot of nicknames floating around concerning Obama- the annointed one, as Hannity calls him, the Messiah, Totus, and so forth. I've come up with one of my own. Magic Obama, or MO for short. It seems to me that all of his "achievements" thus far have come about through the ancient art of optical illusion. He shows us one thing, changes another, and all the while we stand back going "ooh ahh." He did it with the stimulus, hell he did it with the election itself. And now he's doing it with health care and cap and trade. We keep seeing stuff about health care in the news this week. It's a heated issue that get people on both sides of the aisle riled up. Meanwhile, tomorrow there will be a vote on cap and trade and no one is talking about it, at least no one that reaches undecided people that can make a difference. Certain congressmen and women know that their constituents want or don't want cap and trade. But a lot of them have undecided constituents. Its the undecided voters that can make a difference here. If cap and trade goes through it will crack down an fossil fuels, creating strict regulations on nearly EVERYTHING dealing with coal, oil, natural gas, etc. It will put our economy even further into the john, and make it damn near impossible to recover. And all in the name of global warming.
The kicker here is that they want to pass this damn bill to fight global warming- WHICH HAS NO CONSENSUS IN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY- but MO believes in it, so it must be true. When you think about this like a logical, rational adult, it becomes clear just how stupid an irresponsible this cap and trade bill really is. They want to spend our money, to make things harder for us during a recession, in order to alleviate a problem that scientists aren't even sure is a problem, when no one else on this huge planet is doing anything similar to it. So we are going to waste time and money and dig ourselves an even deeper hole for nothing, because in the scheme of things we can't fix the global warming "problem," as the lefties describe it, alone because it's just too big. So even if this were a legitimate proposal, it would fail because from what the Libs keep telling us, the problem is too great for one nation to fix. What the hell kind of sens does that make?
The fact of the matter is that MO and the Dems are concern solely with MO and the Dems. They think they have all the answers and know how to fix everything, regardless of the facts. The same people that shove scientific evidence down our throats for everything under the sun want us to believe that when the numbers disagree with them, its the evidence that is flawed and not their logic. Whatever the reasons, be it money, power, glory, or otherwise, these people have concern for themselves on and not for the well being of the people that they are supposed to be serving. And MO is the ring leader in all of this. I've said it before my friends, when the government stops listening to the people it no longer has a place in our system and must be stopped, removed and replaced. It is our right, it is our duty to throw off such government and create new guards for our future security. I'm tired of MO saying one thing and doing another. I'm tired of MO apologizing to the world for the great things this nation has done (I'll have more on that later). I'm tired of these people thinking that we exist to provide them with anything, when it is they whose jobs exist solely to protect us. They're not doing their jobs anymore. If I suddenly stopped doing my job and went against everything my boss told me to do, I would get fired. We are the Bosses, and the government works for us. It's time they realized that. So let's get it through their heads. It's time they were fired.
