Arizona and Immigration

We've been hearing a lot about the situation with Arizona's new immigration law, and I think it's time to throw my own take on it into the mix. I'm not going to get into whether the law is constitutional or not, because at the end of the day this whole issue is not about constitutionality. It's not about civil rights either. And it's certainly not an issue of "social justice". Right now, the issue of immigration is, just like the rest of Obama's agenda, solely about power. Obama and his ever expanding league of minions don't do or say a damn thing unless they believe it will give them an advantage in creating more power for themselves. It's a very simple trail from eager, poor, underprivileged person jumping the border to a power donation in the pocket of the president. These people break our laws by entering the country illegally, then they become an enormous strain on our system, then they put American workers out of work (more on that shortly), many of them become not only criminals, but repeat offenders, which means even when we catch illegal immigrants, we're letting them go instead of shipping them back to their own country!!! I don't care what you're intentions are when you cross the border, coming into this country illegally, (for those of you who get it, this will be both amusing and sad) is illegal!!! For years I've been a strong proponent of the idea that there is a legal way to get here and if you truly have nothing to hide you will be patient enough to do it the right way. I get that people have it tough. Mexico is a crappy place to live (i don't want to hear it, if it wasn't a craphole people wouldn't be jumping the border in herds to get here). But that does not give anyone the right to break our laws.

So right off the bat illegal immigrants become (again with the funny) lawbreakers. Then you have people getting fake social security numbers and birth records and so forth, which the last time I checked was identity fraud. Funny how people seem to think it's ok for illegal immigrants to commit such a crime but God forbid an actual American citizen CHOOSES not to have health insurance! Anyway, the lawbreaking continues once they're here. Then they manage to get jobs, many times working for slave wages of a couple bucks an hour. There are a number of things wrong with this. First, and foremost I believe, someone had to break the law by hiring these people, and I believe they should be punished to the full extent of the law. Hell if you really want to deter the employment of illegal immigrants, we should introduce legislation that requires business owners to pay a penalty of fifty percent of their profit for time during which ANY illegal immigrants were in their employment, and then you put them in jail too. Back to slave wages. The even bigger problem here is that when you hire an illegal immigrant and pay them such low wages, two things happen. One, yo empower other illegals, making them believe that they are doing nothing wrong by being here illegally. Two, you eliminate a job that could be done by someone who is here legally. Especially in these tough economic time, jobs are important, every single one of them. Illegal immigrants put Americans out of work, no buts about it. You hear idiots say things like "they do jobs Americans won't do," and my response to that sentiment is I don't think so dummy. For every single job out there in America, there are thousands and thousands of Americans that would do it. Now, they won't pick fruit for ten bucks a day and they won't clean or cook or build or do anything else at that price either, because we know that it's inhumane, not to mention illegal, to pay someone such ridiculous wages. In other words, illegal immigrants are doing jobs Americans won't do UNLESS THEY ARE COMPENSATED FAIRLY. Don't give me this crap about Americans being picky when it comes to work. You wouldn't work for two damn dollars an hour so why would you expect anyone else to Libbys?

Liberals love to tell us that we should feel sorry for illegals because they are just poor, disadvantaged people looking to improve the quality of life for themselves and they're families back home. Such a sad story. So you're telling me none of them are here to smuggle and/or sell narcotics? None of them are fugitives? None of them are looking to deliberately exploit our lack of enforcement of our own laws? Every single one of them is 'innocent? Again, if that were the case they would certainly be able to get here legally, right? "But Danny, it so expensive and it takes so long to get into the country that way (sad faces with tears)." My response to these idiots is simply, so what? I know it's not fair that some people weren't born here, but fairness is neither guaranteed nor endorsed by the Constitution where OTHER COUNTRIES' citizens are concerned. We, the people of the United States, and even documented visitors, legal workers, and so forth, are protected by the Constitution. PEOPLE WHO ARE HERE ILLEGALLY HAVE NO RIGHTS AND NO PROTECTION UNDER OUR CONSTITUTION. If you have any evidence to the contrary I would love to see it.

So we have these people that are here illegally, many of whom are breaking other laws, we have drug dealers, murderers,rapists, drunk drivers and more. I get that not all of them are bad people, but they are certainly not all saints as Obama would have you believe. He knows as well as I do that illegal immigrantss are a strain on the system, the difference is he wants to solve that problem by simply making them legal. There are a couple of reasons for this. Number one, they're too worried about socializing medicine to sit down and figure out how to legally, peacefully, respectfully, politely, apologetically, bend-overly, ask eleven to twenty million people to kindly gather their belongings and get the hell out. More importantly,Liberals will never ever do anything to offend Latinos because Latinos vote for Democrats, the people who want to give them everything they want, asking "nothing" in return (except for votes of course). Latinos are an important voting bloc for Democrats and will continue to become even more so in the coming years as more and more enter the population (this includes legal immigrants as well as natural born citizens of Latin descent). Which is exactly why Democrats pander to illegals.

They just want the votes.

Why?

Because they want the seats. They want the House, the Senate, and the White House.

Why?

Because they want power. They want absolute, total, all encompassing power.

Why?

Because they want to create policies to support their Marxist socialist, entitlement-packed, "socially just," God eliminating, speak softly and leave the sticks on the poor trees, bend over backwards to the will of anyone we don't want to offend Agenda. A little something I like to call the end of American values forever. They want to destroy our country. They want to do things their own misguided way and screw anyone who doesn't agree. We've come to a point in our country where they can pass a ridiculously expensive,intrusive, Health care law that will force Americans to be insured or face a fine, and do it with over three fourths of the country opposing the measure, and then they tell us they did what was best for us? Excuse me? Since when does Congress get to tell us what they're gonna do? They work for us, and yet now they refuse to listen. They don't care anymore. Power is they're goal. They want to be in control of our lives because they Liberal little brains have come to the decision that they are smarter than we are, and that their way, Marx's way, is the best road to take. We all know they're wrong. Now they're trying to use immigration as a platform for their agenda. Arizona's lawmakers passed this law because the federal government, for many years now, has failed to protect our borders. Obama was so shocked that anyone had the balls to challenge him, to look him in the eye and step right on his toes, that he didn't know what to do. He's shocked and appalled that someone would dare to rain on his epic parade. I think it speaks volumes about who he really is. He really thinks he is the end all be all of American politics and he actually believes that he knows best and we should all sit down shut up and take this "change" without a word. Well I've got a word for you- FREEDOM. I'm telling you Mr. Obama, you will not succeed in "fundamentally changing" my country. There are more of us than there are of you, and this November we're going to show you that, and you will be the one sitting down, shutting up, and taking it. That is a promise.
