Environmentalists? Yea, and I'm a Prius Enthusiast

You know, there's nothing I love to jump on more than the hypocrisy of our government. Here is an excellent example. This picture does not do justice to the Reflecting pool in our nation's capital. Not because it's prettier than it seems, but because it's actually no where near as clean and pretty as it looks here. I took this picture on July 4, spending the Independence Day in DC with my sister, my niece, and my Fiance, to whom I proposed in front of the White House that morning. (that was just a personal side note, we're so happy!!!) When we got to the Reflecting Pool I noticed something that really pissed me off. It was the dirtiest "pool" of water I've ever seen in my life! Nasty dark, murky water with trash floating all about. They want us to pay outrageous energy costs, buy expensive hybrids, transform our entire economy into a "green" economy and make so many sacrifices in the name of the environment, but Congress and the President can't find the time to get the Reflecting Pool cleaned up? The Reflecting Pool, an important and historic piece of the city of DC, and of the nation as a whole, which happens to lay well within walking distance of both the White House AND the Capitol building, that's a bit much to expect from our leaders. They want to do REAL cleanup, implementing destructive policies that will collapse our economy under the guise of environmental liberation but with the real and certain aim of creating the perfect, calculated conditions under which they can fundamentally transform America into a Marxist Utopia and forever eradicate the values and principles this country was founded on. THAT my friends is why they are pushing the green agenda, it has nothing to do with cleaning up the environment, which is what the tree-huggers think. They want to "cleanup" what they have come to believe, through in depth and educated higher thinking of course, are the "failed" policies of our Capitalist system. They want to "level the playing field" and "spread the wealth around" in the name of "fairness." Hypocrisy in action, corruption in policy, and fundamental transformation in agenda. Turns my stomach and burns my soul.

Stay Conservative, and keep looking Forward
