DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz
said this week that the Republican party has gotten “whiter and maler” while
the Democrats have added more minorities and women to their ranks, to the point
that white men are now the minority. A sane person would look at that info and
say something like, “OK, either there are a lot more Democratic CANDIDATES who
are female, African American, Latino, etc. or the 'white guy' Republicans that
were elected were thought to be better qualified than their opponents by
voters, or both.” That seems pretty obvious to me. The question becomes, why? I
believe that, for various reason, Latinos and African Americans have a hard
time identifying with and relating to Republicans. You can cite anything from
the push by Democrats to convince them Republicans are racist, to the
Democratic principle of "big government always there to prop you up."
You can ALSO cite Republicans, at least the conservative ones, who champion
robust business, individual freedom and responsibility, and small government.
Over time, Republicans have gradually lost more and more minority voters to
Democrats. Race, poverty, and a disconnect on the issue of individual
responsibility have all been factors, but not in the way most would think- more
on that in a moment. As far as women go, I think we’re still pretty evenly
split, although I’m sure there are more female Democratic voters than
Republican voters. And I am sure that gap is probably widening as more and more
young people are added to the voting ranks. Sexism plays a role in this gap,
but also not in the way most would assume.
Before I begin my rant about
Wasserman Schultz and her cohorts, I’d like everyone to consider this question:
What is the point of having a 'majority-minority' caucus, if your party isn't
getting things done? This is a very important question right now, because we
have Democrats hell bent on raising taxes, increasing spending and debt, and
bolstering things- like public sector unions, entitlements and amnesty for
illegal immigrants- that will hurt our economy. So we know that the Democrats
are concerned not with who will do the job and get Americans working, but with
who will make them look “tolerant and accepting of minorities and women.” That
my friends shows us a great deal about today's DNC. It's Affirmative Action
politics folks. Quantity over quality. This is a topic I could probably ramble
about for days, but I will try to stay as brief as possible. In a nutshell, the
Democratic party has decided that in order to achieve the power and policies
that they want, they are going to make promises they won’t keep, and incite
racial, gender and class warfare. They want a different America, and
they are willing to pay ANY price to get it.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s words
shouldn't be surprising. Democrats pander to women claiming to care about their
"rights." They champion legal abortions freely and readily available.
They advocate for taxpayer funded contraception, which they somehow decided was
a right. I still have no idea whose behind they pulled that crap out of. Then
they tell women that they have to vote for Democrats or they will lose their
reproductive, contraceptive and even suffrage rights. Meanwhile republicans are
honest, and tell them they want to protect life and that no one should be
forced to pay for someone else’s contraception.
Democrats pander to African
Americans claiming to care about their "rights." They champion
sending more and more money to inner city schools. They continually try to
convince black citizens that the government exists to give people the things
they want and need (they do this to EVERYONE). Democrats also claim that racism
is to blame for blacks in poverty, blacks in prison and blacks on drugs. They
promise to fight for race, and to make things “fair,” so that white oppressors
will no longer keep African Americans down. Meanwhile, Republicans are honest
with them, and tell them poverty can be remedied with economic growth, and that
race should not be the determinate for how successful you are, but rather
individual effort should. Republicans try to explain that racism is not their
motivator in their policies on crime and drugs, and that individual
responsibility is.
Democrats pander to Latinos
claiming to care about their "rights." They insist that they want to
keep families together. They support amnesty, and oppose making erecting a
fence along the boarder. They oppose making English the official language of
the United States.
They advocate for healthcare and free education for illegal immigrants.
Meanwhile Republicans are honest with Latinos, telling them that we are
proponents of LEGAL immigration, but will not tolerate violations of our
boarder. They tell them that those living in the United States illegally, regardless
of where they came from, cannot claim healthcare, education or even legal
rights that citizens can. They oppose Amnesty, and advocate for a fence at our
boarder to keep even more people from coming in illegally (personally, I
believe in a full length fence at BOTH boarders because people can come through
Canada illegally too, and ALL illegal immigrations pose the same threats to our
laws and our economy).
No Republican, and certainly no
Conservative, supports these notions because they hate women and wish to
oppress them or strip away rights. They do not hold these beliefs because they
hate African Americans and Latinos and wish to keep them out if American
society. They do not support these measures because they want to punish the
poor, or the disadvantaged, or women or minorities. They are pro life because
they believe life is sacred and should be protected. They oppose taxpayer money
paying for contraception because they believe it is neither a right nor anyone
else’s obligation to ensure that people can get birth control. They support
tight boarders and stiffer drug and crime laws because they want to ensure that
the lives, liberty and property of American citizens, remain safe. They want a
simpler tax code and smaller government because they want all Americans to be
free, and to prosper. They want Capitalism because they believe in consumer
based economics, where the people have control of what is acceptable. They
believe in small government, because they believe in freedom, and bigger
government means less freedom. Instead of debating these points, Democrats have
decided it’s best just to divide the country, and then make the Republicans
seem so disgusting and inhuman that people have no choice but to vote Democrat.
Sad thing is, it’s working so far.
Conservatives want everyone to be
free and prosperous people. We want the poor to have the ability AND
opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty. We want less government control
of our lives, as little as possible in fact. We want as few people utilizing
government aid as possible, as long as it translates into as many people
working as possible. Liberals and Democrats stand for government based
solutions. That's their bottom line. They want to fundamentally change our
nation’s principles because they think America isn't unfair. It always
seems to come back to that fairness thing doesn't it? So it comes down to this:
they need power to change the Constitution (for now, soon they may be skipping
straight to totalitarian tactics), they need seats in Washington and State/Local legislatures to
get the power they need, they need votes to get the seats, and they need
constituents that “agree” with them to get votes. The easiest way to get votes,
in their minds, is to blind people to the truth, and make them grand promises.
And it’s not just a racial or gender issue. They promise young people free
college, a degree and a job. They promise the elderly that they'll get free
medicine and treatments. They promise the poor more money and, everyone is
promised less individual responsibility.
If you keep telling people, “I'll
give you stuff and ask less of you,” most people won't argue. And it’s a great
tactic for getting votes in today's America, because we don't teach individual
responsibility anymore- we teach "fairness," which the government
seems to define as everyone have the same "stuff" rather than the
same "opportunities." Another effective vote gatherer is asserting
that a male or white majority in Congress is somehow a deliberate attempt to
oppress women and minorities (this works because we don't teach people to
"trust but verify"). Anger is a great persuader. Making people
believe they are being targeted for oppression leads to anger, and motivates
people to vote for race and gender over substance and character. (People who
can't think for themselves fall in this trap).
The Democratic leaders don't give a
damn about women's rights or black rights or Latino rights. They care about
their VOTES. They will do anything they have to in order to secure those votes.
If they have to keep making targeted promises they have no intention of
fulfilling, they will. Why not? All they have to do is make the promise, take
the votes and forget about it. When someone calls them on it, all they have to
do is blame the evil white men in the Republican party for blocking their
efforts (and yes, sadly, many Americans will buy this crap even if the
democrats have the White house and a super majority in Congress). If they have
to create a class war between the producers and the workers they will. They
believe Capitalism is meant to oppress the working class and make the rich
richer anyway, so class warfare comes natural to these people. And no matter
what ACTUALLY happens to the economy, the greedy evil business owners will be
blamed for hoarding wealth and exploiting the laborers. If a race war will win
votes, yes they'll go there too. They constantly claim that it’s racist that
whites hold certain jobs. They claim that whites actively oppress minorities,
and that questioning minority politicians and bureaucrats is inherently racist.
My favorite Democratic racial tactic is getting seriously out of control.
They're attacking vocabulary. You can't say anything, AT ALL, in reference to a
minority, or you're a racist. You can't question competence, motives, actions
or words, and you can't criticize principles, values or policies. If you do,
and you're talking about a minority, you're a racist- or a sexist if it’s a
woman you choose to question. However, you can rip a white guy to shreds and
its just exercising your freedom of speech. And you can say anything you want
about ANYONE that happens to be a self proclaimed Republican or Conservative,
or anything other than Liberal Democrat, and no one will claim racism or
sexism. They accuse African Americans that don't vote Democrat of being
"ignorant," "not really black," or "trained."
Similar terms are used for Latino Americans who choose to vote conservatively.
It's a vicious double standard, and it goes unhindered by the press. Then we
have the phony "war on women." If you oppose abortion, you hate women,
and want to keep them as sex slaves. If you oppose taxpayer funded
contraception, you hate women, and you want to use them for breeding and keep
them in barns. If you are a woman against these things, you've been beaten or
brainwashed into submission by your evil white republican husband. They've got
tactics for everyone, and excuses galore when things don't go as they promise.
Democrats, in particular Progressive
Democrats, have decided that their way is right, regardless of what the people
want. We are too stupid, in their estimation, to make decisions on our own. In
their "enlightened minds," there is no reason that any
"educated" person would come to any conclusion other than the ones
they themselves have come up with. So anyone who disagrees with them is
"uneducated" and unfit to have the freedom to run their own lives. So
the Progressive Democrats are taking it upon themselves to make the world fair-
by their own definition (again, everyone having the same "stuff." It also
happens to include the "enlightened minds" deciding definitions like
"fair" and making everyone's decisions for them). Screw American
principles, screw individual liberty, and screw capitalism. Now, they know they
can’t just seize power and flip our country over to their side overnight. So
they are doing it slowly, over time, with tactics like what we saw from Debbie
Wasserman-Schultz. They take nuggets of truth and spin them so far left they're
unrecognizable. Electing white men is seen as organized racist oppression,
regardless of the candidate's qualifications. Opposing abortion, taxpayer
funded contraception or voting for a male over a female is painted as
deliberate, calculated sexist oppression. Supporting a boarder fence and
opposing amnesty means you hold malice toward Latinos, and you want a method to
hold Latinos down, and keep them from succeeding in America. Opposition to affirmative
action means you're a racist, sexist, homophobic dirtbag, regardless of your
reasons for opposing it. You'll notice, if someone votes in favor of a woman or
a minority, if they are accused of doing so because of race or gender, the
ACCUSER is labeled the racist. It can't work both ways folks. It's absolutely
ridiculous to assume that the only reason to be for or against something is
because of race or gender. The only reason to play that game with EVERYTHING
the way Democrats do, is to distract from the real reasons that people vote for
and against things. If the people realize they are voting for empty promises
that will never be kept because the democrats making those promises want votes
and not solutions, they will change their votes. If the people believe that in
MOST cases, when someone votes against someone or something, it’s because they disagree
with the principle and merit, not the pigment or sex, they will change their
votes. This race/gender/class baiting tactic is no wild haymaker, it's a
calculated strategy.
Bottom line: It is not inherently
racist to vote against a minority. It is not inherently sexist to vote against
a woman. It is not inherently bigoted to support value and principle over
filling a quota. It is not inherently sexist, racist or bigoted to vote FOR a
white man. And last, but not least, it is NOT inherently tolerant, un-racist,
un-bigoted, un-sexist or un-homophobic to have more minority, female and
homosexual politicians in your party. It simply means you have more of those
people in your party. They "why" is in the motives and tactics of the
progressives, and in the lack of adequate understanding of, and response to,
those motives and tactics, among Republicans.
Stay Conservative, and Keep Looking to the Future
