"Stimulus"

I don't know how many of you know this already but if you've heard it it's worth hearing again. This so called "stimulus" package the dems are slopping together is in all actuality anything but a stimulus. As it stands the bill contains appropriations for about 825 billion dollars. After interest the sum will hit around 1.2 trillion. Over 600 billion of this bill is dedicated to groups and activities that will have no effect on the economy whatsoever. There is 400 million allocated for global warming, money for beautifying parks, Amtrak is getting a cut, the flippin National Endowment for the Arts is getting 50 millions dollars! For what?! Their "messiah" promised to cut wasteful spending during his campaign, and now when we need to do that more than ever, the bastards are about to pass a 600 billion in some of the most wasteful spending in history fluffed with around 100 billion of possibly meaningful dollars sent to the right places. And most of the money that may actually help won't even go into effect until 2010! How can you call it a stimulus bill when it's nothing but a wasteful pile of pork-barrel money. As long as the lobbyists are happy who cares right? What a load of crap. We are supposed to be reviving our economy, but instead the dems have taken the opportunity to spend OUR MONEY repaying the people that helped them win. That's all this damn thing is, a gigantic I.O.U. payment covered with the label of "economic stimulus". But no one is saying a word. People across the nation are so enthralled with Obama that whatever he does and says must be the right course of action in their eyes. They are blind to the detriment that will come of this bill. In 1981, Reagan entered the presidency in the midst of horrible economic conditions. Unemployment was in double digits, inflation was through the roof, jobs were being cut left and right. What did he do? He dropped the top marginal rate and it worked like a charm. Now during a far less dire crisis, Obama and his minions have not only convinced everyone that we're on the verge of a depression, but he actually has them believing that the solution is to raise taxes on the top 1%, who by the way pay over 90% of all income taxes in this country, and give free money to people who don't pay taxes. News flash messiah, if you don't pay taxes you can't get a "tax cut". Call it a welfare check, because that's what it really is you twisted little man!


The dems' plans for the economy will no doubt make the situation far worse, meanwhile their cronies around the country will be sitting pretty on fresh sums of taxpayer dollars. WE CANNOT LET THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THIS POLITICAL BULL SHIT! We have got to do something before it's too late. I don't know about all of you, but frankly I'm sick and tired of watching the liberals scheme their way around the rules when it benefits their egos and their wallets. Anytime a republican is even accused of acting in their own best interests we hear about it nonstop for weeks and months at a time, but the liberal media will never stand for anyone badmouthing their messiah, even if it means allowing blatant defiling of the constitution to go unmentioned. So here we stand, about to fall victim to the greedy hands of the Jackasses, pun very much intended, in Congress. Now, what are we going to do about it?
